Robert S. Tucker is the son of John A. and Lucinda (Arrington) Tucker. He served in the 6th Regiment of the Missouri Cavalry, Union Army in the Civil War. Robert married Elizabeth Susan Lane Stansell in 1834. They are the parents of twelve children: Mary Angeline, John Wesley, Martha Lucinda, Louisa Jane, Salinda Frances, Nancy Elizabeth, Jesse Robert, Mary Susan, Elizabeth Ellen "Ella" Safronia, Sarah Evaline, Ulysses Simpson Grant, and Charlotte Tennessee Tucker. Robert S. Tucker was a farmer and a minister.

I have a photo of Robert's headstone which I will be glad to share.
