Lexie May Lott Updyke Dilley, 83, passed away peacefully at home March 10, 1995 with her loving grandson Steven at her side.

Born April 8, 1911 in Lehi, Utah to Orson Snow Lott and Cenith Adams Lott.

She married Daniel Franklin Updyke Sr. on August 13, [He died 1966]. She married Joseph "Joe" N. Dilley on March 29, 1972, who passed away June 9, 1993. She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Franklin Updyke Jr.

Survived by her only daughter, Lexie May Updyke Bumgarner Spencer; seven grandchildren: Daniel E. (Sandy) Updyke , Terry Stockhouse, Steven, Keven, and Robbie Bumgarner, Tammy Hook, and Tawnya Klunker, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

After a lifetime dedicated to serving others, it has come time for her to hang up her apron. She will be dearly missed!

"The time has come to say goodbye, as you start your journey on the other side. Walking hand in hand with Grandpa, we'll see our guardian angels you both will be. Until we meet again... "Hakuna Matata" (all is well).

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 1995, 12 noon at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call Monday 6-8 pm. and Tuesday one hour prior to services.
