Death - Word has been received here by Mrs. Wesley Yakish that her father, George Lowe, 73, of Herman died early this morning in an Omaha hospital. Funeral arrangements await word from relatives.

GEORGE LOWE DIED SATURDAY
George Lowe was born at Lawrenceburg, Indiana July 2, 1865, and passed away at the Methodist hospital in Omaha, November 6, 1937, aged 72 years, 4 months and 4 days.
He came to Nebraska in 1882, and has always resided in the Herman vicinity. He has been in poor health during the past two years, but his death came as a shock to the entire community.
On October 6, 1891 he was married to Miss Maggie Cain at Fremont, Nebraska, and to this union were born five children, all of whom survive. They are: Mrs. Irma B. Wilson of Omaha; LaVerne Lowe of Klamath Falls, Oregon; Mrs. Mary Himes of Correctionville, Iowa; Mrs. Clarabell Rakish of Fremont, Nebraska; and George J. of Norwood, Ohio.
There are eight grandchildren, five brothers: James and Huit of Herman; Will of Twain, California; Ollie of Arlington and John of Waterloo, Iowa and two sisters: Mrs. Minerva Carter of Blair and Miss Maggie Lowe of Herman.
George Lowe had many friends, and his genial smile and pleasant manner will be missed in Herman and the community.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the home conducted by Rev. A. W Clarke. Interment was made in the Herman cemetery.
