Henry Mamer Harvey married Jane Hecuba Butterfield on 16th Nov 1887 at John Cox's House, Oberne.
In the early stage of his illness it was first believed Henry had leprosy, however it was cancer of the face. He was unwell and in hospital for some time before he died. William Edward O'Keeffe paid for Henry Harvey's hospital costs and took Jane to see her husband while he was in hospital, along with helping Jane run the original Butterfield farm at Oberne, where the Harvey family lived. Henry Mamer Harvey, died 5th Dec 1906, cause of death: carcinoma of cervical glands in hospital since 19th Sept 1906, Certified by J A Beattie (surgeon). After Henry's death William Edward O'Keeffe married Jane.
