He hired out to Union Pacific and retired as a locomotive engineer 42 years later. Following his parents, he was a devout Catholic. A favorite of Lenny’s world was world history and traveling. He was able to explore the U.S., Latin America, and several trips to Europe. He loved country music dancing, the College World Series, and Cornhusker football. Throughout his life he always found the time to help those in need. Family, friends, and even strangers. He leaves behind his beloved wife, sons, granddaughter, family and so many wonderful friends. He will be missed by many but never forgotten.
