SERVICES FOR MRS. A. HERRING ON 21st

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Herring, 69, who moved to a farm near Arlington, Nebraska in 1944, were held Tuesday Oct. 21st at St. Paul’s Lutheran church north of Arlington with Rev. Carl Hellman officiating. Burial was in Immanuel Lutheran cemetery east of Winslow, Nebraska.

Pallbearers were nephews of Mrs. Herring. They were Elmer Krohn, Walter Hoegermeyer, LaVerne Busch, Oswald Fuchs, Arnold Wittman, Rudolph Wittman.

Mrs. Herring was born March 26, 1878 near Evanston, Ind. and was married to George Herring May 31, 1910. The couple moved to a farm west of Herman, Nebraska in 1929 where the family resided for 15 years before moving to a farm near Arlington, Nebraska.

Left to cherish her memory are a son Adolph, and a daughter, Sarah, both at home. Six sisters, Mrs. Louis Fuchs and Mrs. Charles Busch of Arlington, Mrs. Emil Krohn and Miss Mathilda Wittman both of Winslow, and Mrs. Otto Hoegermeyer, Mrs. Ed. Fischer both of Hooper and two brothers, William Wittmann of Winslow and Henry Wittmann of Ames.

Her husband died Oct. 20, 1942.
