GEORGE HERRING DEATH VICTIM
George Herring, Washington County farmer of the Herman vicinity, died October 20 following several years’ illness.
Born at Evanston, Illinois on January 31, 1864 Mr. Herring was nearly 79 years old at the time of his passing. He came with his family to the Herman, Nebraska vicinity in 1929, and his home had been in that vicinity ever since.
Survivors included the widow and two children, Adolph and Sarah, both at home.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 23, at the Immanuel Lutheran church.
