JOE WILLIE WARD, 67, of Memphis, retired Postal Service manager, died of heart failure Sunday at Saint Francis Hospital. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. He was a member of Beulah Land Church of God in Christ and was an Air Force veteran. Mr. Ward, the husband of Malinda Ward, also leaves four daughters, Leslie Thomas, Sharon Ward and Mary Alice Evans, all of Memphis , and Myra Takufu of Cleveland, Ohio; a son, Christopher Ward; his father, Leslie Ward; four sisters, Lue Catherine Sykes, Rosella Ward and Artensia Jackson , all of Memphis , and Louise Ward of Millington; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
