| Birth: | Jun. 18, 1837 Ross County Ohio, USA | | Death: | Oct. 31, 1912 |  Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Corporal in Company F, 2nd U.S. Artillery. At the Battle of Wilson's Creek, Missouri, on August 10, 1861, Corporal Immell with his unit, gathered abandoned canon from another battery and continued to fire on the Confederates assault.
