Services for Billy "Buster" Brown, 38, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the Herman Legion Hall, in Herman, NE.
Mr. Brown died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha on July 31 as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.

Billy Brown was born on May 6, 1950 in Blair. He moved to Rockford, Illinois when he was a young man. Billy attended school in Rockford and at Blair High School.

Billy Brown was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served for 18 months. Brown was also a member of the Blair Eagles and was an avid outdoorsman.

Billy Brown was united in marriage to Mary Tyson of Blair on October 11, 1983.

Survivors are his wife, Mary, Blair; his son, Billy Ray Brown, Council Bluffs; his mother Vera Ratfield, Kennard; two brothers and two sisters. Billy is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, George and Nancy Tyson, Blair.

Military graveside services will be in the Herman Cemetery. Funeral arrangements will be handled by the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair.
