Family lore states CT was born in the "back of an ox cart while passing through MO, on the way to Texas from Georgia (possibly from Early County). Some people think he may have been born in MS. So far, nothing concrete for either location. {This is my great-great-grandfather.}

Great-greatgrandfather, I have heard the tales of how mean you were to the girls. I guess times were hard and you were a hard man but, you are still my ancestor. Peace be with you.
