Sunday Services Scheduled for Mrs. Agnes Estes
Glasford (Special) - Mrs. Agnes Estes, 66, died in her home in Banner this morning following four years' bad health.
Born Nov. 22, 1886, a daughter of John and Alice (Jarnigan) Betts, she was married on Sept. 30, 1922 in Galesburg to John Estes, who survives.
Also surviving are five step-children, Floyd Estes, Speer, Ill., Mrs. Veona Volk, Peoria, Mrs. Josephine Cooper, Shelbina, MO., Mrs. Fern Myers, and Mrs. Zelma Corwin, Phoenix, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three half-sisters, Mrs. Flora Cook, Tiskilwa, Ill., Mrs. Gladys Anderson and Mrs. Alta Hamilton, Peoria and two half-brothers, Frederick and William Betts, Peoria.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday in the Banner Methodist Church by the Rev. Louis L. Meade. The casket will be open in the church one hour before the services.
Friends may call at the Howard Funeral Home, Glasford, Saturday. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery.
