CLIFFORD: Eva C. (St. Cyr), formerly of 20 Main St., Lyndonville, died Thursday morning, Jan. 22, 2004, at the Pines Rehabilitation and Health Center in Lyndon, at the age of 86.

She was born in Travers, Alberta, Canada, July 3, 1917, daughter of the late William J. and Rose (Guenette) St. Cyr. On July 3, 1933, Eva married Irving P. Clifford.

Eva served on the altar society at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Lyndonville for many years. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 30 of Lyndonville. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed cooking and playing bingo. Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great enjoyment.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Clifford and his wife Norma of Richmond, Vt.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene England of Leominster, Mass.; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Geyser of Antioch, Calif.; a special friend, Gladys Davis of Riverton, Vt.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Irving Clifford, in April 1997; their son, Richard Clifford, in November 1994; her brother, Alphonse St. Cyr; and her sister, Blanche Connors.
