| Birth: | Oct. 5, 1900 Philadelphia Philadelphia County Pennsylvania, USA | | Death: | Nov. 10, 1961 Darby Delaware County Pennsylvania, USA |  John H. Blake, 61, of 407 Chester Pike, Darby, died Friday at the Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. He had been ill since June.
Mr. Blake was a retired Philadelphia policeman and since retirement had worked for the Marine Guard Service.
He is survived by his widow Mary G. Dyer Blake; four sons, John, Jr. and James, both of Darby, Joseph of Glenolden; William of Lansdowne; a daughter, Mrs. Mary McAllister of Darby; eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Marvin Funeral Home, 1110 Main St., Darby.
Solemn Requiem High Mass will be sung at 10 at the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Darby. Burial will be in the SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
