Funeral services for Deven Thomas ISBELL, 13, of Jonesboro, who died Wednesday, March 3,2004 will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Valley View High School gymnasium.

The Rev. Tony Williams will officiate and burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.

Born in Jonesboro, he was a seventh grade student at Valley View Junior High School where he played drums in the school band. He was an honor roll student and was accepted in the Duke program for gifted students. He attended Calvary Baptist Church, where he was active in the youth programs.

Survivors include his parents, Charley and Kim ISBELL of the home; two brothers, Tyler ISBELL and Walker ISBELL, both of the home; one sister, Kassidey ISBELL of the home; and maternal grandparents, Fred and Mary Castleberry of Charleston, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Reva ISBELL.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro.
