Monroeville Breeze
May 29, 1890

At the residence of our esteemed citizen, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Freese on last Thursday evening, in the presence of a number of relatives the marriage of their accomplished daughter Miss Luella, to Charles Simmers of this township occurred, Rev. O.W. Bowen, of the Lutheran church officiating. The event was a pleasant one as Mr. And Mrs. Freese had everything so arranged as to afford the happy couple and their guests the greatest enjoyment, which caused each and every present to feel on retiring to their homes that it was pleasant to have been present and share the hospitalities and feast spread before them. The Breeze extends congratulations and best wishes to the young couple as they journey through life.
