Richard V. "Rick" Frasure, 53 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 10:02 a.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2005 in the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, following an illness of 2 weeks.
Rick was born on February 15, 1952 in Allen County, Indiana the son of the late Sam P. Frasure and the late Luella K. Beauchot Frasure. He married Patsy J. "Patty" Shellenbarger on June 17, 1972 in Monroeville, Indiana and she survives.
Rick was a member of the Sons of the Legion Post 420 in Monroeville, Indiana; and the United Rubber Workers Local 715 in Woodburn, Indiana.
Rick worked on the assembly line at UniRoyal-Goodrich Tire Company in Woodburn, Indiana from 1971 until retirement in 1997.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy J. "Patty" Frasure of Monroeville, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Bryan (Tera M.) Butler of Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Dan (Trina) Bogle of Monroeville, Indiana, sister LeeAnn Frasure of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, brother Sammy M. (Linda) Frasure of Wawaka, Indiana, brother, Lynn F. (Pat) Frasure of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, sister, Mrs. Dave (Judy K.) Paris of Monroeville, Indiana, and four grandaughters.
Richard was preceded in death by one infant son, Rick Tyler Frasure in 1973.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2005 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana with the Rev. Dale B. Worcester officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana.
