ANNABELL MCCOLLUM
Annabell McCollum, 91 of Marceline, died Thursday morning, Feb. 18, 1999 at Pioneer Health Center in Marceline.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at Marceline First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Marceline under direction of Bentley-Delaney Funeral Home of Marceline.
Annabell was born Nov. 20, 1907, in Wien, daughter of Alonzo and Ethel (Lancaster) Craig. She married James L. McCollum on Feb. 2, 1922. He preceded her in death Sept. 1, 1979.
Annabell was a homemaker and worked for Florence's Nursing Home and was the contact person for the OATS Bus in Marceline. She was a member of Marceline First Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Linn and Chariton counties.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, W. Howard and Betty McCollum of Salisbury, Virgil L. and Jude McCollum of Milan, Illinois, and Jack D. McCollum of Moline, Illinois; two daughters and sons-in-law, Hildred and Ervin Garr of Brookfield, and Mildred and Bob Sullivan of Moline, Illinois; three brothers, Roy Craig of Columbia, John A. and Leo Craig, both of New Franklin; two sisters, Nita Hamilton of Marceline, and Clara Lee Duncan of Boonville; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
