MRS. FAULKNER DIES; SERVICES TOMORROW
Mrs. Sarah Faulkner, 122 S. Monroe St., died early this morning at Pershing Memorial Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Marceline.
Sarah Burton, daughter of James and Lee (Craigg) Noah, was born Jan. 3, 1888 near Lingo. She was married to Isaac Moore and they were the parents of four children. Mr. Moore preceded her in death in 1913. She was married to Ralph Faulkner in 1914, and they were the parents of two children. He preceded her in death in 1933.
She is survived by one son, Oley Moore of La Plata; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Dobson of Kansas City, and Mrs. Pearl Richards of Brookfield; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Georgia Moore and Mrs. Vina Buckley; one son, Willie Moore; three brothers and five sisters. She was the last of her immediate family.
Mrs. Faulkner was a member of the Baptist Church in Marceline and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
She had made her home in Ft. Madison, Iowa before coming to Brookfield in 1966.
