MEXICO, March 19- Mrs. Olive Gannett, 64, wife of Irving J. Gannett, died early Tuesday morning at her home in Wayne street after a short illness. She was born in Grafton Square, town of Mexico, in 1875, daughter of Frederick and Alwilda Lawton Kenyon. She had been a resident of this village for 17 years.

For 14 years she had with her husband conducted the general store in North street, now operated by Harold Dunning. Mr. and Mrs. Gannett retired from the business three years ago.

She was an active member of the Silver Crest Rebekah lodge and the Mexico Home Bureau.

Surviving beside her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Harold Dunning, Miss Catherine Gannett, and Mrs. Robert Taylor, all of Mexico; three grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Fred Newmiller.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral home of Leroy M. Miner, the Rev. Harold M. Barnard, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Mexico cemetery.
