Edd Wheatley, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, at his farm home on Bloomfield Road, north of Springfield. He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Spalding; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Mudd, Springfield, 14 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

The funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday morning, at St. Rose Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery there.

The remains rested at Hale & Polin Funeral Home.
