Mrs. Samuel Jolly died at her home south of town last Saturday, May 8,1897, and the remains passed through the city Sunday enroute to the Hughes Cemetery, several miles north of the city where they were laid to rest. Forrest City Times Newspaper- May 14, 1897.

Lillie Mae Vaughn, born bet. 1859-1863 at Talladega, AL.
Her 1st marriage in Nov. 1875 was to William S. Culpepper of which there were 4 children born to them. Minnie Etta, Don, Euna, & Willie Mae. The last child Willie Mae, was born the same year that her father Wm S. Culpepper died at Stilesboro, Bartow County, GA. He left Arkansas to help his brother, who was sick in GA. (could have been a brother in law) He himself got sick and died there. Euna was born about 1881 and died 9 Nov 1898 at Franks Twp, St. Francis County, AR.
Lillie then married Sam E. Jolley 15 Sep 1889, in St. Francis County, AR.
