She attended Queens University in Charlotte, NC where she majored in dance. She loved to dance and was even a New York flapper. She continued her love of dance by opening her own dance studio in Anderson, SC. June married Richard Cramer Ellison and they had 3 kids together. The kids are still alive today and now have children of their own. June died following a short battle with breast cancer.
