FLORA (POST) HOLESINGER, 94, of Fulton, died Wednesday at the Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison, Ill. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Second Reformed Church in Fulton. The service will be preceded by a 1:45 p.m. family prayer service at the church. The Rev. Bruce Vaandrager, pastor of Morrison Christian Reformed Church, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven, Jeffery, David, Matthew and William Holesinger, Tom Huizenga, Terry, Timothy, Jon and Cheryl Holesinger, Kristie Huizenga and Laura Ritterbush.

She was born April 5, 1910, in Waarfum, Gronigen, Netherlands, Holland, to Henry and Anna Schol Post. She married George Holesinger on March 1, 1929, in Fulton. He died in 1990. She was educated in Fulton grade schools. She farmed with her husband in Morrison and Garden Plain, Ill., until their retirement in 1964 when they moved to Fulton. She was a member of Second Reformed Church in Fulton, the church's Ladies Aid and Missionary circles and the Ladies Guild. She served as chairwoman of the home department of the Missionary Circle. She was a charter member of the Harbor Crest Nursing Home Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include three sons, Allen (Carol) Holesinger, Donald (Audrey) Holesinger and Richard (Judy) Holesinger, all of Fulton; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jennie Tichler of Morrison. Memorials may be made to Second Reformed Church and Unity Christian School, both in Fulton. She was preceded in death by her husband, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
