Graduated from Albuquerque High School, a Pacific Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, retired from PNM after 31 years as a line foreman, worked at Hope Schools, and taught Sunday School at Faith Chapel for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Florence; sisters Cecile and Sibyl; and grandson, Jonathan. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris Houghton; children, Albert, Donna, Janetta, Cynthia Houghton, Pamela and husband, Allen Kirkpatrick, Tina and husband, Wayne Sieg; seven grandchildren; brother, Paul; nieces and nephews.
