Chris Hansen, aged 80, died on Saturday about midnight from the effects of a paralytic stroke which he suffered early in the evening. Deceased came here from Blair a few years ago and has made his home with Mr. and Mrs. D. Buck and assisted them in the work at the meat market. He enjoyed unusually good health for one of his years and had not complained. He was at his work throughout the day as usual. Mrs. R. B. Folda, a stepdaughter, of Howells, Nebr. is the only close surviving relative. Mr. Hansen was a kindly, quiet disposition and was well liked by all who knew him. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock at the Baptist church conducted by Rev. Petersen. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery beside his wife, who passed away several years ago.
