Mr. Clyde Davis, eldest son of the late Chas. L. Davis, died a few days ago at the home of his mother in Coweta, Okla.. For several years he was employed by the state, at Jefferson City, but gave up him work on account of bad health.
The remains reached Thayer Wednesday afternoon and carried to the old home and on Thursday afternoon were laid to rest in the Davis Cemetery in the presence of many sorrowing friends and relatives.
To the heart-broken wife and family, the Thayer News extends condolences in their hour of grief.
