Rhoda Mae Owens, 91, of Vincennes passed away on May 19, in Vincennes. She was born October 15, 1926 in Knox County to Alpha and Gertrude Taylor. She was a member of Hamline Chapel United Methodist Church. She retired from South Knox School Corp. where she worked as a teachers aid. She was also a volunteer at the Blue Jeans Community Center and enjoyed denim crafting and genealogy. Her lifelong passion was helping children learn to read.
