LARS E. LARSEN RITES MARCH 20

Lars E. Larsen was born on April 25, 1889, near Orum, Nebraska in this county, and passed away at the home of his sister, Miss Louise Larsen in Orum on Thursday, March 16. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul’s Lutheran church near Orum.

On May 1, 1913 he was united in marriage with Lora Miller, and to them three children were born. Mr. Larsen spent his entire life in the Orum community.

He is survived by his wife, by one son, Ivan of Orum, a daughter, Lora Lee Larsen, employee of Washington County Bank, and by four sisters, Miss Louise Larsen of Orum, Mrs. Kirstine Petersen of Fremont, Mrs. Kristine Raymond of Anselmo, Neb. and Mrs. Martha Iversen of Orum. A daughter, Iris, passed away in 1926.

The funeral service was held in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Orum on Sunday, March 20, with Rev. H. C. Jorgensen conducting the funeral rites, and the Campbell Mortuary in charge of the funeral arrangements. Burial was made in the Orum cemetery.
