MARGARET E. LARSEN, 94
Margaret was born Sept. 25, 1894 near Herman, Nebraska to Jens and Sorina (Hansen) Christensen. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Orum, NE.
She married Hans C. Larsen. They were blessed with three children.
She and and her husband farmed in the Spiker, Nebraska area until his death in 1956. At that time she moved to Blair, Nebraska and resided at Good Shepherd Lutheran Nursing Home in Blair for the past five years.
Lifetime Washington County resident Margaret E. Larsen, died Tues. Jan. 17, 1989 at Good Shepherd Home in Blair, Nebraska.
She is survived by two sons, LeRoy of Blair and Chester of Herman, a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Gladys) Hooks of Tucson, Ariz. and a daughter-in-law, Elaine Larsen of Blair. Ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Ervin, and two brothers, Hans and Alfred.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20 at Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be at the Orum Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Home and Blair’s Memorial Community Hospital.
