Anne was born in Bideford, Devonshire, England, Her parents were 1st cousins, Father is Robert Heal, her mother is unknown Heal. Robert was a stagecoach driver on the route between Bidefore & Barnstabel, England.After moving to Canada and at the age of 25 yrs. old she married Thomas Linklater in Canada on Dec. 22, 1875. Together they had 10 children. 4 boys & 6 girls. All lived into adulthood, except one son Hansford, born-Jan 27, 1884 at Collingwood, Simcoe, Canada, and died in infancy, buried in Canada.

Robert & James were in the service of Her Majesty Queen Victoria. Robert served with the British Army in India until poor health forced his return to England. James was in the Royal Navy and was lost at sea.

(The head stone has Annie as her name. I am going by
the Birth Certificate, her name was spelled Anne, so I have changed it, as her certificate states.)
