Shawnee resident Rex (Bengi) Bente Harrison III, beloved husband, father and son, 39, died Saturday, April 7, in Shawnee.
He was born April 28, 1967, in Shawnee and raised in the McLoud and Shawnee areas. He was the son of Leon and Mary Kaskuske of Harrah and Rex and Nancy Harrison Jr. of Tacoma, Wash.
Rex graduated from Sherman Indian High School in Riverside, Calif.
He was married Sept. 2, 1995, to Michelle Neash-Harrison.
He enjoyed playing and watching sports. He also enjoyed the company of his many friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Harrison; six children, Nethia White, Desiree White, Markus Neash, Allister Harrison, Rex Harrison IV and Skylar Harrison all of the home; parents Leon and Mary Kaskuske of Harrah and Rex and Nancy Harrison of Tacoma; and sister, Teri Harrison of Saucer, Miss.
Service was held at the Bently-Walker home. Prayer service was also offered at the Kickapoo Friends Center. Burial is located at the Bently-Walker family cemetery.
Rex Bente Harrison III was a well respected dad as well as an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed.
