Mr. John M. Almand has accepted a position in the grocery department of his brother's store in Washington, Georgia. He will be misssed.

It is with pecular sadness that we are called on to chronicle the death of one of our former Conyers boys.
Mr. John M. Almand the yougest son of "Uncle Dock Almand" which occured at his brother's R. A. Almand at Washington, Georgia on Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock, caused froman overdose of Laudanum.

John was a young man possed of many noble qualiies, which made him many friends whever he went. His mother and sveral brothers and a large host of relatives and friends mourn his death.
We extend our sincerest sympathy to the bereaved ones.
