Thomas H. Carr, 65, of Bay Springs died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at his residence. Retired from Southern Pine Electric Power Co., Mr. Carr was a Baptist and had served in the U.S. Army. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs. The graveside funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Liberty Baptist Church cemetery in Stringer. Mr. Carr was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Bernice Richardson Carr. He is survived by his wife, Wynell Carr; his sons, Don Williams, Able Williams and Rayburn Williams, all of Soso, and Promise Williams of Meridian; his daughters, Sylvia Hurt of Meridian, Melinda Bishop of Waynesboro, Julie Hallman of Alabama, Lisa Thomas of Louisiana, Patricia Carr of Petal and Laurie Wedgeworth of Socier; his brothers, Willie Carr of Polkville, Johnny Carr of Tennessee and Edward Carr of Ludlow; his sisters, Ruby Hall of Raleigh, Joyce Smith of Pulaski, Barbara Ezell of Ellisville, Annie Arender of Puckett and Clarice Wicker of Homewood. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
