Abraham Lyons

Hookstown -- Abraham Lyons, 76, retired farmer, died suddenly of a heart attack today at 8 a.m. at his home near here. Mr. Lyons was a member of the Free Methodist church. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary Lyons; four sons, Harry Lyons and Clifford Lyons of Hookstown, Roy Lyons of Beaver and Charles Lyons of Monaca; four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Gillespie of Hookstown, Mrs. Armenia McHugh of Cleveland, Mrs. Jeannette Cundiff of Chester and Emma Lyons at home; one brother, Lewis Lyons of Chester; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. eastern standard time, in the Free Methodist church here, with Rev. W.N. Brown of Chester, officiating. Burial will be in Mill Creek cemetery. Friends may call at the home.
