Professional Hockey Player. For nine seasons (1975 to 1984), he played at the right-wing position in the National Hockey League with the Atlanta/Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals and Los Angeles Kings. Born Kenneth Lyle Houston, he played initially with the Chatham Maroons, prior to being selected during the 6th round of the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft by the Atlanta Flames. He made his debut during the 1975-1976 season and played in 38 games. During his career, Houston established himself as a consistent scorer and produced six season of twenty or better goals. In 570 career regular season games, he compiled 161 goals and 167 assists. After retiring as a player, served as a scout and later worked in the food distribution industry. He died from cancer.
