Frances Mae Bloodgood, 96, of Wall, passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Frances was a lifelong resident of Wall Township. Worked at McCrory's in Asbury Park and for Sears for 21 years. Frances played the piano for over 50 years for West Belmar United Methodist Church. She also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in West Belmar United Methodist Church.
Predeceased by parents, Earl and Josephine Stines; husband of 66 years, Chester "Chet" Bloodgood in 2004; son, Chester Bloodgood Jr. in 2006; brother, Henry J. Stines; and sister, Earline Hill. Survived by son, Clifford (Carol) Bloodgood; sister, Betty Geilfus; daughter-in-law, Judith Bloodgood; and sister-in-law, Lois Stines; four grandchildren, Brian and Patty Bloodgood, Donna and Keith Blackburn, David and Christine Bloodgood and Deborah and Mark Sileo; seven great-grandchildren, Eric, Matt, Nicholas, Amanda, Lauren, Ian and Caroline.

My maternal grandmother was named Olive Bloodgood and she was from this area of New Jersey. We never knew her since she left my mother, uncle and grandfather (William Hubbs)sometime around 1927. I've always wamted to find her or her family.
