ELLEN VICTORIA DINGUS, 73, Rt 1 Clinchport, died at Holston Valley Community Hospital late Tuesday night after a brief illness. She was a Baptist and a life long resident of Scott County, VA.
She is survived by six daughters, Mrs Phoebe Darnell, Dungannon, VA., Mrs Lula Darnell, Gate City, Va., Mrs Gracie Frazier, Mrs Hazel Carter, Mrs Mary Begley all of Ft Blackmore, Va., Mrs Myrtle Laney, Johnson City; three sons, Roy George and Willie Dingus, all of Gate City, Va., one sister Mrs Betty Bills, Ft Blackmore, VA., 33 grandchildren and 14 great grand children.
Funeral Services will be at 2 pm Friday at Starnes Bend Baptist Church, Burial will follow in the Dingus Family Cemetery.
