Mr. Truman Surdam of Middle valley was killed on Thursday afternoon last. Mrs. Surdam was also thrown from the wagon, and severely injured.(Idaho Tri-Weekly Statesman, Tuesday, June 29, 1886) Transcribed by C. Hanson
