Dwayne "Red" Bock Born 12/8/1930 in Columbus, NE, passed away peacefully in his sleep on 3/31/2007. He lived in Nebraska until 1942 and then moved to the Tacoma area. He is survived by JoAnne, his wife of 55 years, son Mike (Debi) Bock, daughter Patti (George) Graham, granddaughters Adrienne, Erin and Lilli, brother George and sisters Jeanette, Terry, Irene, Ilene and half-sister Eva, as well as many nieces and nephews. Throughout the years, he was a trophy-winning roller skater, avid motorcyclist, hunter and fisherman. He worked for Silver Eagle Motor Freight until he was medically retired in 1990. Since that time, he and JoAnne enjoyed cruising, travelling all over the world. They recently returned from a fabulous 66 day cruise from Florida through the Panama Canal, around South America and Antarctica with one week experiencing the Amazon River. It was the trip of a lifetime. Red was a very active member of the Puyallup Valley Gem and Mineral Club, Mid America Paleontology Society and Fossils For Fun. He was involved with the Prime Timers group at his church, Celebration Center and enjoyed playing golf with the men's club at PLU, which was a daily event. A celebration of his life will be held at Mountain View Celebration of Life Center on Wednesday, April 4, at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the building fund of Celebration Center, P.O. Box 73848, Puyallup, WA 98373. Red was a sweet, loving, kind and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend who will live in our hearts forever.
