Billie Sue Ford Morgan, age 90 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018.
She was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and served as Church Hostess for many years where she was well known for her cooking and her caramel pound cake. Five weeks ago to the day our sweet Papaw passed away and today our precious Mamaw decided she had spent enough time away from him on this Earth.
Please pray for our family, especially as we deal with losing both in a matter of five weeks’ time.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William Carroll Morgan; parents, William and Verla Ford; brothers, Fred, J.C., and Don Ford; and sisters, Annette Atchley and Lib Arnett.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth “Libby” Harb and husband Johnny, Linda Koontz and husband Tim; grandchildren, Maria Harb Bishop and husband Jarred, Morgan Rigney and husband Jason, and Allison Koontz; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Caleb Rigney; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meridian Baptist Church, 6513 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920.
Funeral service 7 PM Thursday at Meridian Baptist Church with Pastor Dana Fachman officiating. Interment 10 AM Friday in Meridian Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Meridian Baptist Church.
