Daniel Marvin "Danny" Lewis, 42, of Idaho Falls, entered the unconditional, loving arms of our Heavenly Father on February 18, 2018.

Danny was born March 29, 1975, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is the son of Robert and Joan Daniels and Blake Lewis. He grew up and attended schools in Ammon, Idaho, and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1994.

He was a hard worker who loved serving others, and would give the shirt off his back. He would drop everything he was doing to be there for his family and friends. He always cared about offering a helping hand because that is the example he learned from his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Danny worked for Albertsons for seventeen years and for Coca-Cola Bottling Company for the past three years. In just a short amount of time, with the change to Coke, he was promoted and loved working hard for them. He shared his joy and passion for his job with his friends and family.

Danny was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in Eugene, Oregon. He knew and loved his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He served in his ward bishopric and was currently serving as the High Priest Group Leader. He always put others before himself, and was a kind and beautiful soul.

Danny was a gifted artist and had a passion for hunting, reading, comics, Star Wars and candy. His greatest gift was his love for others and forgiveness.

Danny married the love of his life, Monica Oie Larsen Hartvigsen, on June 12, 1998, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Danny loved his wife and children and would want them to be taken care of. They were his greatest pride and accomplishment on this earth.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Lewis; daughter, Annika; son, Anders; parents, Joan and Bob Daniels and Blake Lewis; sister, Tammie; brothers, Robert, Dustin and David; and all his nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the Iona LDS Stake Center, 7555 North 55th East. The family will visit with friends from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
