Actress. Born Norma Roman, she made her feature film debut in "Jungle Queen" (1945) and went on to be one of Hollywood's most prolific figures. Among her many credits are "Champion" (1949), "Strangers on a Train" (1951), "Blowing Wind" (1953), "The Far Country" (1955), "Look in Any Window" (1961) and "Day of the Animals" (1977). For television, she appeared on "I Spy", "The Bing Crosby Show", "Knott's Landing" and "Murder She Wrote". She also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
