Cecelia, 44, passed away at her residence.
Cecelia was known to have the sunny disposition in the Bergman family. She was married to Albert until her death. Cecelia died in tractor accident at a young age. Her sister, Regina, missed her best friend and sister the rest of her life and never stopped talking about her. She left behind five daughters and a son.

Woman Fatally Hurt In Tractor Mishap
A Mercer County woman was fatally injured Friday afternoon when a farm tractor overturned, pinning her under it. The Victim was Mrs. Cecelia Steinlage, 44, wife of Albert Steinlage, St. Henry R.R. 1. She died of a crushed chest, had injuries and internal injuries at 2:45 p.m., a few minutes after the accident.
Mrs. Steinlage had gone to the farm yard to help her son, Gerald, start a tractor which had stalled. She got on the tractor to steer it while Gerald was pulling it with another tractor.
Apparently the tractor was in gear when the motor started suddenly, and the vehicle flipped over as it started forward, with Mrs. Steinlage under it. Acting coroner C.E. Pennington, pronounced the death accidental.
The Steinlage home is one and a half miles northeast of St. Henry on the Hoying-Kramer road.
Mrs. Steinlage was born April 5, 1916 in St. Rose, the daughter of Frank and Elisabeth Puthoff Bergman. On June 5, 1940 she married Albert Steinlage, who survives along with her father, Frank Bergman, St. Rose; six childrent, J 19, G, 17, B, 16, P A, 13, P, 11, and K 5, at homel eight brothers and sisters, Stephen and Leo Bergman, St. Rose; Mrs. Fred Grieshop (Catherine), Egypt; Robert and Herman Bergman, St. Rose; Mrs. John Albers (Regina), Guadalupe; Andrew, St. Rose and Michael, Cassella.
She was a member of the St. Henry church and the Married Ladies Sodality.
Solemn requiem high mass was offered at 10 a.m. Thuesday at St. Henry Church with Revered Max Herber as celebrant. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry was in charge of arrangements.
She was born to Frank and Elizabeth (Puthoff) Bergman.
Surviving is her husband and a sister, Regina Albers.
