Reba (Ashley) Peck, 90, died Friday, March 30, 2007, at Homeview Health Care Center in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born Feb. 11, 1917, in Shelby County. Her parents were Otto and Cecil (McCarty) Ashley.
She had been a seamstress and a supervisor for 19 years at a garment factory in Shelbyville. She also had been a beautician.
She was a member of Apostolic Gospel Church in Franklin. She enjoyed sewing. She was caretaker of the Harrison Apartments in Franklin for more than 20 years.
Survivors include two sisters, Patty Brown of Taylorsville and Joan Patterson of Franklin; three grandchildren, Deborah Lucas, Edward Peck and Ty Peck; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Michelle and Lily Peck; and special friends, Elizabeth and Michael Schultz and Madelyn Shelly, all of Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Peck, in 1990; a stepson, Edward E. Peck; a brother, Oscar Ashley; and three sisters, Fern Cole, Delores Marshall and Irene Coffman.
