Wife of Samuel Haines.
Aged 82 years.
An article published on the couple in the Reading Eagle Newspaper, December 2, 1905, indicated that Mrs. Haines was born in Womelsdorf, and her father owned a grist mill. Her obituary stated that she was born near Leesport, Berks County. The 1850 Womelsdorf, Berks County census has Amanda Elizabeth Buck in the household of her father David Buck (1810) with a brother Henry F. Buck . Mr. Buck dealt in grain-mill products. He appears to have died after 1880.
Her brother Henry F. Buck might be the the same person in the 1880 Tymochtee, Wyandot, Ohio Census, a miller, born in Pennsylvania in 1836.
