Richard C. Hardin Sr. age 74, of Seymour, passed away Monday January 15, 2018. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Richard was a member of Smoky Mountain Fly Wheelers and was a collector of Antique tractors and tools.

He was an honorable discharge Vietnam Army Veteran.

Richard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwindel G. Hardin; parents, Hugh and Lora Hardin; and brother, Tommy Hardin. His survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Richard Hardin Jr. and wife Angela; grandchild, Koty Hardin and wife Anna; and brother and sister-in-law, Curtis Hardin and wife Jean of Fort Myers Florida.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday with service to follow at 7 PM at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Glenn Metts officiating.

Family and friends will meet 11AM Friday at Chilhowee Cemetery for graveside services and interment with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
