~SUNDAY SERVICE FOR MRS. ALMOND

Graveside Services for Mrs. Beaula ALMOND, 72, who passed away at Wichita Falls, Texas, Thursday, will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Hooker Cemetery with Rev. A. W. Ressius officiating.

Mrs. ALMOND and her husband came to Hooker in 1906 from Texas. While here they operated the System dry goods store, leaving in the 30's. Mr. ALMOND also sold insurance.

During the twenty some years they lived here they were active in social and civic affairs, and were members of the Hooker Baptist Church. They also owned land west of Hooker.

Mrs. ALMOND is preceded in death by her husband and two other children, who are all buried in the family plot at the the Hooker Cemetery and she will be laid to rest beside them.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Helen) FORD of Wichita Falls, Texas, with whom she made her home, and a granddaughter, Mrs. George DEAN of Fort Worth, Texas.

Friends may call at the Robert Brothers Chapel, from noon Sunday until 3:00 p.m. when the body will lie in state.

Mrs. ALMOND died about 4:00 p.m. Thursday.
