Charles Henry Hicks, age 87, of Seymour passed away Saturday December 2, 2017, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born May 18, 1930, in Madisonville, TN. Charles served in the Army during the Korean War and was retired from ALCOA where he served as Superintendent. He was a car enthusiast and loved going to "Smokies" baseball games.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Hicks.
Survivors include: wife, Stella Hicks; children, John Hicks and wife Sharon, Teresa O'Beirne and husband Kevin, Lisa Settlemyre and husband Tommy, Tammy Emert and husband Kevin, and Keith Jones and wife Renda; grandchildren, Angie Cole and husband John, Christie Hicks, Heather Barnett and husband Chance, Kim O'Beirne, Chris O'Beirne, Elijah Settlemyre, Nathan Settlemyre, Katie Settlemyre, Justin Emert and wife Christen, Jonah Emert, and Katie Jones; and great-grandchildren, Camden and Colton Barnette, and Addilee Emert.
