Sunday, September 26, was the 20th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Phillips. The folks from Iola arrived at his residence in North Hoosier with well filled baskets and when the Elder returned from services at Ingraham, to his surprise found them there. The table was then spread and Sister E. Patton, widow of Eld. E. Patton, invoked God's blessing.
As those at the first table finished eating, in came the young folks bearing a large box, delving into this and bringing out and displacing a 34 piece set of hand painted china ware, for which their pastor and wife could not fully express their thanks. Such as this makes the pastor and his wife glad.
